Athena Solutions AB is a product independent IT-consultant that sells information and knowledge solutions to companies that want to take advantage of technology to outrun competition. Our Mission is to be the strategic partner of choice for knowledge companies by providing and customizing tools to control, share and leverage information and knowledge. Our profound belief is that technology can never replace the brain of the individual, meaning that we focus on the human aspects of technology.

How we work

We work closely in cooperation with a partner network. Our network allows us to reinforce any project with top experts whenever required. Our partners may also provide support, hosting and the products and tools we use.

Who we are

Our team consists of a group of consultants with many years of experience in developing, evaluating, designing, recommending and implementing systems and solutions. We use both proprietary and open source software depending on the requirements.

We are inspired by the software engineering professionalism ideals advocated by aD.

These are the members of the company:

Jonas Carlsson - Founder and owner. Has been working professionally with software development for 9 years, 5 of those in content management. He is an experienced project manager, system designer and programmer. He has several years of experience working with the high quality and integration requirements of logistics systems. Jonas has designed, developed and deployed a cargo handling logistics system at Sweden's largest airway cargo handling warehouse, Cargo Center. The system is integrated with the airlines, customs and cargo agents. He has also been involved in designing CRM and quality management systems. Jonas also has a quite unique knowledge of designing and developing fail-safe software systems for e.g. railway train control systems and nuclear power plants. He is now fully devoted to develop systems for Knowledge Sharing and Management that can help people communicate better and more efficient over space and time. Jonas holds a Bachelor of Science degree in electronics.

Håkan Ståby - Founder and owner. Has 15 years of computer experience and 10 years of those in content management and software development. He speaks English and French as well as a dozen computer languages. He is an experienced system designer, project manager, tutor, system evaluator and has several years of experience working in a regulated environment and the high quality requirements of the pharmaceutical industry. He has designed systems for CRM, quality management, logistics and permission handling. Most recently he is involved in the expanding and emerging science of Knowledge Management. Håkan holds a Master's degree in Marketing Management and Organisation.

Lars Söderman - Head of Consultants. Have a Bachelor in Social Science main field of study psychology towards Communication, Learning and Change Management. He can help you with Knowledge Management, how to handle information and how to create an learning environment, questions that he can help your company become a more efficient organisation! He has been working internationally with training of both individuals and groups and enjoy working with people.

Fredrik Imfall - Developer and consultant. A computer engineer since 1998 specialized on software development with solid experience of several languages ranging from C and C++ up to the current .NET envrionment, with a main focus on C#. He has designed and implemented systems for handheld devices, web solutions, multithreaded, multitiered and local applications in different environments. Fredrik has a soft spot for Agile development methods like TDD (Test Driven Development) and project management with Scrum, and as of late an increasing interest in software architecture methodology. He is also an experienced tutor and enjoys doing graphical design in both 2D and 3D. He is a native Swedish speaker and fluent in English. Fredrik has a Bachelor of Science with a major in software development.

Elias Tavoosi – Our latest recruitment comes from the University of Uppsala where he left with a Bachelor in Computer Science. Elias is a dedicated developer with great analytic skills. He is experienced in Risk Assessment and he master several programming languages. At present he is based at one of our clients working in a major logistics project.
